Grace on the Internet - How To Get To Heaven

Jesus promises us, "Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." (John 14:1-2)

God has shown us through His Word how to get to heaven, and we want to share His message with you.

How to Get To Heaven... from San Marcos and all parts of the world.

1. KNOW that heaven is a free gift from God... it is not earned or deserved.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves. It is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

2. REALIZE that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself!

"There is none righteous, no not one... For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:10,23)

3. UNDERSTAND that God is just and must punish sin, but God is also merciful and does not want to punish us.

"For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
(Romans 6:23)

4. BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who paid the price of our sins and purchased heaven for us.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

5. HAVE THE FAITH of a true believer, trusting Jesus Christ alone for salvation, as He said,

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man comes unto the Father but by Me." (John 14:6) and "I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life." (John 6:47).

The Next Step

Now that you know how to get to heaven, invite Jesus into your heart and your life, by the Holy Spirit's power, believe in Him as your personal Savior; ask Him to forgive your sins and show you the ways that are pleasing to Him.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
(2 Cornithians 5:17)
